Thank you for choosing to open an account with Village Bank. This process should only take about 10 minutes.
Please Note: A debit or ATM card may be opened through the checking or savings account application. Should you be interested in opening more than one deposit account, please submit an application for each account of interest to you.
Village Bank welcomes the online opening of accounts to individuals who live within the 11 county metro area of any Village Bank office. Village Bank asks that you will be at least 18 years of age and a U.S. Resident. We may only open consumer accounts for single applicants. Please visit the Village Bank office nearest you to open an account for your business organization or group, IRA account, or Certificate of Deposit account over $50,000.00. Please note that to complete the online application, these requirements must be met.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, Social Security number, mother's maiden name and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents. Any information that we request will be safeguarded and used for the purpose intended.
By completing the deposit account application process you authorize Village Bank to verify your identity by using commercially available databases containing information from public records, other financial institutions and consumer reporting agencies.
We will be using your e-mail address to send you important information about your application, including confirmation that we have received your application and the next steps required to open and use the account. We will never ask you to send sensitive information (i.e., an account, Social Security, or PIN Number) by, in response to, or via a link in an e-mail.
To open an account using other methods, please contact a personal banker at your local branch. Click here for a list of our branch locations.
